Do I have to be an avid runner/walker to participate?

Absolutely not!  This walk is not timed, so just come ready to have fun with your friends and family.

How much does it cost to register for this walk?

This event requires a donation per walker and it is open to the public. Registered patients/survivors participate for FREE.

$10 Early-Bird Registration (Register between June 1 - July 1, 2019 & receive a FREE t-shirt with registration)
$10 Pre-Registration (July 2 - September 4, 2019)
*T-Shirt available for an additional $5 with registration. Sizes will be limited.*
$10 Same-Day Registration (September 8, 2019).

Online registration has ended, can I still participate?

YES! Online registration closes a few days before the walk BUT you are still welcome to walk with us!

Registration will be available from 8am - 8:45am. Please plan to arrive early to have sufficient time to register.

What do I get with my registration?

Walkers who register by July 1, 2019 will receive an event t-shirt with their registration. All walkers will be invited to attend our After Party. The After Party will include: Trophy Presentations, Giveaways, Kids Fun Zone, Vendor Zone, Entertainment and more! Pre-registered children will also receive a goodie bag at the After Party.

Can I walk with people?

Absolutely!  You can create a team for your group.

Can I walk with a stroller and my kids?

Yes you may! You can also bring a wagon.

Can I walk with my dog (or any other pet)?

For the safety of our walkers and animal friends, animals are not allowed at this walk.

How far is this walk?

This walk is approximately 1.5 miles.

Will I get lost?

Of course not!  For your reference, the route map is posted online HERE.  There will be plenty of volunteers along the route to guide you.

Can I walk with people?

Absolutely!  You can create a team for your group.

Where and at what time should I check-in?

Check-in begins at 8 a.m. at the Childhood Cancer Foundation Office Patio located at 11155 Mountain View Ave, Loma Linda CA 92354. Check-In tables will be split up between Pre-Registered Walkers and Same-Day Registration.

What about parking?

Parking is available in the Mountain View Plaza - the location of the start of the walk. [11155 Mountain View Ave, Loma Linda CA 92354]

What do I need to check-in?

You will need a copy of your registration receipt (Digital copies also accepted. e.g. via Cell Phone).  You can also provide your full name at Check-In and we can find your registration.

When and where do I pick-up my shirt?

If you registered before the July 1st deadline, or added on a Kids Walk T-Shirt to your registration: T-Shirt Pick-up will be at Check-In from 8am - 8:45am on event day Sunday September 8th.

I was not able to register online.  Can I register in person?

Yes, but please arrive early.  We will accept walk-in registrations from 8 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. ONLY! Same-Day registration will be $10.

What do I do after the walk?

Join us for our After Party!  Light Refreshments will be available and we will have many raffle prize drawings, as well as our Trophy/Awards Presentation.  Enjoy live music, Vendor Zone, Kids Fun Zone, giveaways and more! Shuttle rides will be available back to the start of the walk from the After Party location.

Is there an age limit to participate?

Everyone is welcome to participate; however, children 14 and under must walk with a parent/legal guardian.

What about Team Shirts / Costumes?

If you are part of a team, you are more than welcome to wear your own team shirts. Fun and creative costumes are encouraged.  When planning your outfit, please keep in mind this is a family event.  Explicit costumes are not allowed.

What about Posters / Banners / Noise Makers / etc?

Team / Walker Spirit is highly encouraged! Noise makers, horns, speakers, etc are all welcome! We will be giving out a trophy for The Most Spirited Family / Team at the After Party... so come prepared to show your team spirit!

What if I have an ADA need?

Please contact us immediately with your ADA needs.

Can I check-in my bag?

Unfortunately, no.  We will not be responsible for any lost and/or damaged items.

How do we get back to the start of the walk?

Complimentary shuttle rides will be available from the After Party location to the start of the walk beginning at 10:30am until 1:30pm. You are also welcome to walk back to the start.
