Childhood Cancer Awareness Month Honoree

aria Goodridge

Germ cell cancer

Survivor

Aria was diagnosed with Germ cell cancer in November of 2021. I consider Aria my hero because she always kept a positive attitude and didn’t let her diagnoses keep her down. Before she started her first chemo session we cut her long beautiful hair and donated it to the wigs for kids foundation. Throughout her journey she was always hopeful everything was going to be ok. She always made sure she kept up with school work when she was feeling good. Kept in contact with her teacher and classmates via zoom and assured them she was going to survive this! On February 22, 2020, Aria had her last chemo treatment! A month alter she was ready to take on the world. She joined soccer and she always shares her story with anyone willing to listen. Aria also received the principles award for academic excellence. Aria will always be my hero.
