KIDS WALK

aBOUT

The Kids Walk is a community awareness walk and fundraiser for Childhood Cancer Foundation of Southern California. We are asking our supporters to register and pledge to walk at least 1 mile in support of childhood cancer awareness. As a walker, you’ll join hundreds of other participants all walking for the same cause either together in-person or around their neighborhoods.

WHEN

September 1 – 22, 2024. Choose any day, or every day to get your mile in.

Join us in-person for the one mile walk on September 22, 2024 in Loma Linda.

WHERE

The Kids Walk “Virtual mile” can be done from anywhere you find yourself! Go for a walk around your block or jump on the treadmill – any way you choose to do your mile you are helping raise awareness.

The IN-PERSON walk will take place at 11155 Mountain View Ave, Loma Linda CA 92354.

COST

Registration is only $10 per participant whether you participate in-person or virtually.

Register between June 1 – 30 and receive a Kids Walk shirt with registration!
(Pick up in Loma Linda – Shipping not available. Family members/Team captains may pick up for others)

Patients and Survivors walk for FREE and receive a “Stronger Than Cancer” Kids Walk Shirt (shirt available if registered before August 15, 2024).

WHy

September was designated Childhood Cancer Awareness Month to bring awareness to childhood cancer, which remains the leading cause of death by disease for children under the age of 14. Let’s rally together in support of all brave fighters, to celebrate all survivors and remember our angels.

Registration will open on June 1, 2024!

Awards will be presented for the below categories! Winners will be announced as we celebrate the conclusion of our walk on September 22nd on Facebook LIVE during the “Kids Walk: LAST LAP” After Party at 11am PST.
