Hi, I’m Julieta Ruiz. I’m 12 years old. I am 9 years old and cancer free.

When I was just 9 months old I was diagnosed with blood cancer,  Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) in April of 2010.

I spent 2 years in chemotherapy treatment and I managed to beat it.

Although I do not remember many things because I was very young, my mother tells me stories from that time and we also have photos where we remember everything that happened during those two years.

When I was going to be 3 years old, I finished my treatment, this was in April 2012.

Now. 9 years later, I still have annual visits with my oncologist.

But thanks to God, I now have a normal cancer-free life.
