Violeta was only 5 years old when she was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). She was in kindergarten and started to have little bumps on her neck. This was concerning, and eventually was a sign of her cancer.
Her cancer diagnosis was difficult on her and the whole family. It made working difficult, and it held her back in school. But she pushed through and through her hard work and determination she graduated High School. She is now 19 years old and no longer in treatment.
