Jameson Creiglow: Bravery in the Face of the Unthinkable

Jameson Creiglow is a name that now stands for unwavering courage, resilience, and light in the darkest of places. At just 4 years old, Jameson was diagnosed with High-Risk Pre B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). What followed was a grueling two-year battle filled with rounds of chemotherapy, countless hospital stays, and procedures—all endured by a child whose bravery defies understanding.

On March 17, 2023, Jameson finally rang the bell at Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital, signaling the end of treatment. His family breathed again. They celebrated, they hoped. But that peace lasted only four short months. Jameson began showing unusual symptoms—lethargy, bruising, fevers. His parents, already so attuned to the signs, rushed him back to the hospital. Scans and biopsies confirmed their greatest fear: the leukemia had returned.

Without hesitation, Jameson faced relapse treatment. It was six long months of daily chemotherapy, 10 rounds of radiation, and relentless procedures. He fought like only he could—quietly, determinedly, never letting it break him.

On June 23, 2024, just one day after his 9th birthday, Jameson completed his final spinal procedure and was preparing to ring the bell again. But before that celebration could take place, his family was hit with devastating news for the third time—the leukemia was back, now in his spine.

Currently in his third battle, Jameson is undergoing Car-T therapy and preparing for a potential bone marrow transplant. His days are filled with 2–3 spinal procedures a week, and in the coming months, he’ll enter a prolonged hospital stay in isolation to begin transplant treatment.

Cancer has reshaped every part of his family’s life. They homeschool, isolate to protect his health, and spend nearly all their time at the hospital or at home. Yet despite it all, Jameson continues to smile.

His family lives by the motto:

“We can do hard things.”

And Jameson proves it every single day. His strength doesn’t come with noise—it comes with grace, determination, and the heart of a warrior who refuses to give up. He is not just enduring this journey—he is inspiring everyone who walks it with him.
